Help protect our sewer system by remembering two important rules:
“Flushable” wipes are NOT truly flushable. Even wipes labeled as septic-safe can cause major blockages in sewer lines, leading to backups, overflows, and costly repairs.
FOG = Fats, Oils, and Grease
Pouring grease down the drain may seem harmless, but once it cools, it hardens and sticks to pipes—creating stubborn clogs over time.
Instead:
• Throw wipes in the trash
• Let grease cool and dispose of it in a sealed container
• Wipe greasy pans with a paper towel before washing
